Happy Canada Day Everyone!
Here’s to the excitement of gathering today with our friends and loved ones to celebrate the amazing country we get to call home. With the social distancing restrictions lifted, we now have the opportunity to share in the Blessings and Bounty of Home and Country by spending the day enjoying one another’s company, and for the first time in a very long time, this Canada Day, we, Melissa and Kristyn, get to greet everyone with a Hug! Brendan will be greeting guests with a hardy hand shake and back slap, LOL.
Though our Rost Real Estate Team will still be working for part of the day showing homes to potential buyers, and negotiating contracts for our sellers, we have wisely set aside time for family, friends and fun! So, now that we can be in a larger group again, our extended family has big big plans to Celebrate the day with a backyard BBQ and Pool-triple Birthday Party. And since the weather forecast is calling for warm, but a little unsettled, weather. We have planned to keep as many outdoor areas covered, as possible. That way we can be cooled with the use of water misters. café umbrellas’ and pop up canopies, and stay dry if it happens to rain. Considering our speciality is staying organized, being on top of every detail, and leaving nothing to chance. We’ve also stocked up on cubed ice, cold drinks, popsicles and ice cream bars. since it just seemed obvious to us that we need to keep everyone cool on the inside as well as the outside. Luckily we also have a lovely air conditioned space at the ready, should anyone, or everyone, need to take a break from the outdoor Heat of the day and escape into a cooler area. And of course every birthday celebration needs cake, but since we were to busy to bake, we decided to keep it simple and delicious by ordering an assortment of delicious filled cupcakes from Bliss Bakery.
Now as tradition would have it for our family, no Canada Day event is considered complete until a flag or two has been set to wave in the breeze and sparklers have been set off in the twilight to honor this Beautiful Country we call home. With a full day behind us, we plan to sit together long into the night catching up on family news and just enjoying being together once again.
So Happy Canada Day everyone, and from our Family to yours, may your July 1st be a special time of shared laughter and joy as you take time to connect and greet one another with more than an elbow bump.
Let the hand shakes, hugs and celebrations begin!!
Sincerely,
The Rosts
